MATH 1271 - ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course covers methods of solving ordinary differential equations which are frequently encountered in applications. General methods will be taught for single nth order equations, and systems of first order nonlinear equations. These will include phase plane methods and stability analysis. Computer experimentation will be used to illustrate the behavior of solutions of various equations. Credit may be received for only one: ordinary differential equations (1271) or differential equations with matrix theory (1035). Academic Career: Undergraduate Course Component: Lecture Grade Component: LG/SU3 Elective Basis Course Requirements: PREQ: MATH 0241
