FA 0016 - HISTORY OF WESTERN ART 2 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 An introductory survey course that explores the major accomplishments in Western art (painting, sculpture, architecture, and the minor arts) from the Renaissance through the modern era. A strongly interdisciplinary approach is taken, one that considers how religious, political, economic and social conditions affected the creation of art.
