HUMAN 0500 - DIGITAL TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is designed to introduce tools and technologies in humanities computing for undergraduate digital research. We will create opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom, as students work together in teams to create websites, produce scholarship, and offer service in the public humanities. The course is modeled on the “Humanities Lab”, which emphasizes project-based learning, collaboration, and long-term project development. The course does require some programming, database design, and mark-up instruction, but on a level that assumes no prior knowledge or experience with computers.
