MUSIC 0413 - THEORY AND EAR-TRAINING 1 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to the basic materials of music. Students will be introduced to such topics as note/rest values, intervals, rhythm and meter, key signatures, scales and triads. Students will become familiar with how to notate these elements, both by sight and aural recognition. Concepts will be practiced through singing and writing.
