ENGLIT 0522 - INTERACTIVE FICTION AS LITERATURE Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines digital, text-based and turn-driven narratives as immersive and interactive cultural products. Students study the history of “traditional” interactive narratives - such as riddles and puzzle games - and their impact on electronic literature, and they further this study by reading several works of digital interactive narratives from 1975 to the present. In addition to studying interactive fiction in an historical context, students create original interactive pieces.
