MGMT 1610 - QUALITY MANAGEMENT Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to the study of total quality management, its philosophies and tools. More specifically, the quality dimensions of products and services, the impact of quality on productivity, and the quality philosophies of Deming, Juran, and Crosby will be examined. The student will become familiar with problem solving and some of the primary tools of quality management to include: brain storming, histograms, flow charts, cause and effect diagrams, Pareto Charts and especially control charts for variables and attributes.
