MATH 0212 - INTRODUCTION TO BIOSTATISTICS Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 In this course the beginning biology student learns the concepts of probability and statistical inference from a non-calculus point of view. Applications are emphasized. Topics include probability distributions, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and analysis of variance. Further topics such as correlation and regression analysis may be covered if time permits.
