IT 1171 - INSTRNL TECHN SEC ED-MATH Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course will allow the student to become familiar with instructional technology appropriate for secondary education mathematics. The student will extend the skills and broaden the concepts learned in IT 1101 with an emphasis on math education. The student will learn to use computers for instructional purposes, to evaluate educational software, to utilize the computer as a local and global communications tool, and to develop materials that incorporate communications technology for the teaching of mathematics. This will involve web-based and other multimedia projects.
