GEO 0105 - THE PHYSICAL EARTH LAB Minimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This lab course offers practical experience in Earth Systems Science through a series of hands-on experiments and field activities. Students will investigate the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere, and analyze the interactions between these systems. The course emphasizes scientific inquiry, data analysis, and critical thinking. Required laboratory work includes the study and identification of rocks and minerals; the interpretation of topographic maps, aerial photographs, and geologic maps; and the study of glaciation and ground water.
