FDSED 1030 - CULTURAL DIVERSITY AMONG NATIVE AND HERITAGE SPANISH SPEAKERS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This class explores the cultural diversity in Spanish-speaking countries and the United States. Students learn about the language commonalities and differences between countries, learn about the role Hispanics have in the United States both culturally and socially, and current issues. Students will investigate issues of Spanish-English bilingualism and explore the differences between Native and Heritage Speakers.
