EDUC 0300 - CURRICULUM DESIGN IN STEM EDUCATION Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course continues candidates’ examination of teaching-learning theories, strategies, and issues in STEM education. As an application of learning from the first two courses, candidates will focus on examining and designing STEM-focused lessons and unites while attending to purposeful instructional approaches and outcomes of STEM education. This course is taken concurrently with STEM EDUCATION PRACTICUM, in which candidates are assigned to another area school for a practicum component for opportunities to observe, analyze, and begin the implementation of small-scale lesson and unit designs in a STEM classroom.
