MGMT 0500 - PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Introductory course in management. This course is designed to enhance the student’s knowledge and understanding of the four primary processes of management: planning, organizing, leading and controlling, with special emphasis on the planning and leading processes. We will also explore the major schools of management thought, the social role of business, managerial decision making processes and managerial ethics. Upon completion of the course the student should have a clear understanding and knowledge of the current managerial environment, its scope and complexities.
