This course introduces systems thinking as a critical tool for analyzing and addressing complex environmental and societal challenges. Students explore the dynamics of ecological and social systems using mapping tools, leverage points, and ecosystem design frameworks. Case studies emphasize sustainability, regeneration, and justice, equipping students with a toolkit for analyzing systemic patterns and proposing interventions that support long-term, equitable transformation. The course prepares students to apply these concepts in future contexts. General Elective. May satisfy major requirement, depending on major. No prerequisite. Consent required to register.
