GEO 1200 - HYDROLOGYMinimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This course is intended to provide students with a background in surface water systems. Topics covered will include open-channel hydraulics, stream form and process, infiltration, runoff and its components, watershed analysis/modeling, chemical hydrology (water quality), and water budgets (including precipitation and evapotranspiration). Practical skills will also be developed, such as water sampling following established protocols and conducting discharge measurements with current meters and flow control structures.
