GEO 1030 - SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND AGRICULTUREMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Explores how the food system, from production to consumption, can become less wasteful through sustainable practices. The increasing scarcity of land, soil, water, and plant resources makes it imperative to manage them sustainably, especially as the global population continues to grow. The course also emphasizes cultural attitudes toward food and beverage consumption and social equity concerns related to food accessibility.
