The course is intended for student participation in supervised medical activities at off-campus agencies. Particular sites are selected to fit student career interests. The course requires keeping a journal of daily activities, writing a final term paper relating the internship experience to Biology and making a brief presentation about the internship to the Pre-Medicine Seminar students. PREQ: Junior or Senior status (at least 60 credits of undergraduate courses), permission of the internship director; other prerequisites may be added depending on the internship placement.
