CHEM 1324 - FUNDAMENTALS OF BIOCHEMISTRYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will use biology as a framework to study more in-depth chemistry content. Topics covered include the structure and function of the four classes of biomolecules, as well as the properties of life and the complexities of biological structures (i.e. building from atoms, to molecules, to organelles, to cells, and finally to tissues). Industry related topics such as metabolic pathways, fermentation, and biofuels will also be discussed.
