ME 1044 - MEASUREMENTS 1Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 A laboratory-oriented course covering the fundamentals of mechanical measurement. Various methods and techniques are used to measure basic performance parameters, such as temperature, pressure, velocity, acceleration, strain and force. Lectures cover data reduction techniques and instrument theory. Computerized data acquisition topics are introduced and utilized in the laboratory experiments.
