GEOL 1106 - HYDROGEOLOGYMinimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 Topics to be covered include soil moisture and groundwater regimes, water mass budgets, precipitation, evapotranspiration, interception, surface water runoff, hydraulic conductivity of earth materials, principles of groundwater flow, well hydraulics, geology of groundwater occurrence, watershed analysis, statistical treatment of hydrologic data, and water quality. A number of labs will be field exercises. Permission of instructor required if prerequisite is not met.
