CS 1765 - DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The objective of this course is to provide an in-depth knowledge of database systems designs. Thus, the emphasis is on how to model data and use available database management systems (DBMS) effectively. Towards this end, relational structure is discussed in great detail and hierarchical and network data structures are also presented. Object-oriented database technology is also discussed.
