MATH 1181 - LINEAR ALGEBRAMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is intended as an introduction to linear algebra. This course stresses the computational methods of linear algebra and covers the theoretical development of matrix algebra and vector spaces. Topics include systems of linear equations, matrices, matrix algebra, determinants, vector spaces, linear dependence and independence, spanning sets of vectors, bases, orthogonality, inner product spaces, gram-Schmidt process, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, characteristic equations, and diagonalization.
