JAC 0735 - CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN CRIMINAL JUSTICEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course offers an in-depth analysis and examination of current controversies in the criminal justice system, including contemporary criminal justice policy, application of the law, and criminal justice ethics. Students will be expected to acquire an informed understanding of the history and current status of these debates, the arguments being made on all sides, and the evidence used in support of each position in order to be able to formulate, articulate, and defend an informed opinion on these current controversies.
