ET 0030 - COMPUTR SYMS PRGMG & APPLCTNSMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 Introduces the student to the basic structure of a digital computer and a higher level programming language. Use of a programming language as a problem-solving tool is emphasized. The student is exposed to a wide variety of computer applications within the engineering field. Typical application areas include numerical methods, modeling, simulation, computer graphics, linear programming, statistical analysis, and engineering economics.
